Thread: Tonight's game

    Tonight's game

Anyone who thinks our games are dismal should watch Swansea v Rotherham. Swansea awful.

I know which result would suit City but it really goes against the gran to want THEM to win......which they don't look anywhere near doing so far.

The lad Ogbene looks useful for Rotherham.

I'm watching it and at the moment I think Rotherham could win it. They look far better than Swansea.

Ryan Allsopp gives me kittens with his precarious footwork but the Swansea defence take it to a different level. They're all at it not just the keeper. They're trying to play tippy tappy in defence and it'll be their downfall. I'd wager even we could manage a hat trick playing them

However bad the jacks seem to be you can guarantee they will turn up here in a few weeks on fire and play like a team who are inspired

I hate to see them winning but I don't want Rotherham to gain any points. One of these yukky games when you're not really supporting either side.

100% they will. In fact I’m tempted to not turn up as I know the team won’t and can’t watch THEM celebrate again

However dreadful Swansea are...(and I didn't realise they have the third worst defence in the division)...they DO have some goalscorers.......

    Re: Tonight's game

I'd have Piroe in my team 🙄

I'd love to have Piroe playing for us.

    Re: Tonight's game

Interestingly Piroe is only 23....and has scored 34 goals since start of last season.

    Ogbene has equalised 1-1.....

    Re: Tonight's game

    1-1 quite a few boos......

    Re: Tonight's game

They had 65% possession / 0 shots on goal at one time in 2nd half.
Piroe is far too good for this league, but at least he refuses to leave…and is rinsing them for a couple of million.
Him, Manning, Grimes, and (hopefully) Cooper, won’t be there next season.

    Re: Tonight's game

    Both teams looked dreadful.

    Re: Tonight's game

Rotherham the big gainers at the bottom of the table this weekend, with 1 point.

think they said Manning was likely to leave , but think the others have a fair bit left on the contracts

    Re: Tonight's game

This relying on everyone else to be more crap than us is very dangerous .

Those two quick wins perked up the team and the fans but we will be back in the cack if we don't get a win in the next few games . It's stating the obvious of course but after grasping some breathing space we need to go for the throat .

Martin is begging for the sack judging on his post match interview.

Swansea are not in danger of relegation

I would snap their hands off to be mid table and safe going into the Derby

It could have been worse, they could easily have won tonight so badly Swansea performed. Without Piroe Swansea would have lost.

However, considering we have just put a tough game behind us I think the results went pretty well. Though I'm not sure the Rotherham game will be as easy as I thought it might be.

For someone who has experienced his fair share of relegations, your arse is twitching more than if you were in a gents with George Michael.

    Re: Tonight's game

Yes, both sides were poor, but so are most if not all of the teams in the bottom half. This is a very poor Championship.

That was the most depressing post match interview I've seen.

He does not want to be there.

3 wins in 20 for Swansea...

Knowing our luck they will bin him just before they play us.
