2-0 down at home to Liverpool with Nick Pope sent off and out of next week’s League Cup Final with Man United. Newcastle’s back up keeper Dubravka can’t play next week because he’s cup tied after having played for Man United while he was on loan to them !
good
So you're not a fan of Newcastle. I'd give your left testicle to be in fourth in the Prem
Could be Karius in goal next week. If so Rashford could have a field day
Good riddance. I've lost all respect for Newcastle as a club since they're funded by blood money.
There would be a few grumblings, the overwhelming majority would be very excited about it and supportive.
Not the same issue of course, but look at the rebrand. Many rolled over and asked Tan to tickle their bellies. If we did that when someone changed our clubs entire identity, I don't think there would be much opposition based on human rights in a distant country.
People in Bridgend tend to follow Cardiff City or Swansea which are their local football league clubs
That's how it tends to work
If it didn't then people in Canton, Grangetown and Riverside would support ccfc and everybody else in Cardiff would be buggered
It's really not very difficult to differentiate between Bridgend and Barry based Cardiff City fans , supported their local league team .....and people in Caerphilly hopping on a bus to Manchester or Liverpool
It's quite simple really
Not simple in the slightest.
Bridgenders failing to support their local side mean Bridgend gets lower attendances, less money etc.
It just seems you're highly selective in your view to justify railing against those who go to Prem games, looking for the argument to back your view.
Cobblers
In Manchester the locals support United or City and the district sides , Stalybridge, Hale etc have plenty of support
But United...and Liverpool.....get coach loads of glory seekers from all over the country who all football both league and district , on their doorstep
Merthyr is a small town and their gates are not what they were but they have a hard core of fans who support them locally and local cardiff and Swansea fans pop along too
These people are NOT in the same boat as United and Liverpool glory hunters from pontypridd , aberdare and porthcawl
This is the truth and soul of the matter
But these people were never going to support their local club. I know a spurs fan from Cardiff and he has no interest in City, we may as well be Southend United for all he cares. He's not dismissive about us, he just isn't interested, because Spurs are his team, and he goes every week. And if Spurs dropped down a league or two, then he would still go, same for a lot of people who support clubs outside of the city they were born in, most were never interested in us, so it's not like they made a decision as there wasn't one to make.
