I watched the Netflix documentary years ago on this. The bloke that did a runner and was caught was quite clearly the murderer, but the Italian police were just desperate to make it more than it was, was my impression.
She showed what would normally be deemed strange behaviour at the time, but she was locked up in a foreign country so not overly surprising really.
Amanda Knox was gold for the press, especially being pretty hot to go with it. I don't think she did anything at all.
