For arguments sake - let's say that we don't learn anything more about 'Mr Epps', what would your opinion be then?

Give it a try, you might enjoy it

Why do you care, you don't believe in reality anyway

Fair play. You're topping the 2023 Irony table by some distance. Keep up the good work.

    Care is a strong word.

I'm interested because you asked "Have we reached a consensus regarding the veracity of these newly released J6 surveillance videos?" and then dipped giving your own opinion when presented with the chance.

You ask a lot of questions but don't seem to like giving answers

The footage is obviously accurate, just need some more context regarding any malfeasance.

All of the footage we have seen since January 6th 2021 is accurate.

The only issue now is that out of all of the violence and carnage we have seen with our own eyes, we're being told that it wasn't real because there is also some footage of people not attacking the police, or breaching the chambers etc

    That doesn't change the facts.

There have been approximately 1000 arrests in relation to the insurrection that day.

Many of those have been charged and plead guilty to those charges too as they were bang to rights.

If conspiracy whackjobs want to believe the words of Tucker "entertainment not news & I hate Donald Trump" Carlson over their own eyes then it's ultimately they who will end up looking idiotic when it has all played out.

Let's not forget that Donald Trump is still potentially facing charges of inciting the insurrection too.

    Wouldn't that be sweet?

It's not as cut and dried as you think. There are claims of undercover feds and antifa being involved while dressed up as maga, hence the mention of Mr Epps. Also why is the shaman guy in jail if the capital police were giving him a guided tour of the building, and trying to open locked doors for him enter a debating chamber?

Mr Epps, amongst others, seems to have done for Tucker. I guess anyone believing Carlson's claptrap and making this poor Trump supporter's life a misery for months should be ashamed of themselves.

The MAGA loving Mr Epps has now sued Fox for defamation due to Carlson's constant suggestions that he was an Antifa/FBI agent provocateur, repeated here, not least because his life has been made intolerable by conspiracy theorists.

Yep of course, is there anyone saying it's been faked or CGI or something? Obviously it's accurate. But it's also crazily misrepresentative and deliberately misleading.

Look at those people walking quietly and peacefully - but who are there illegally, and had followed others who had forced their way in by breaking windows and doors, which the whole world was able to watch pretty much live as it was happening.

Still some teletubbies™ will believe it because Tucker Carlson said it on screen.

...Even though off screen, as we've just found out in texts that are part of the Dominion Big Steal court case, he was saying things like "we are very, very close to being able to ignore Trump most nights", "I truly can't wait.", "We're all pretending we've got a lot to show for it, because admitting what a disaster it's been is too tough to digest. But come on. There really isn't an upside to Trump.", "He could easily destroy us if we play it wrong.",

and my favourite "I hate him passionately."

Of course there were "claims" of Antifa. That line was being spun as we were watching live feeds of the Capitol being stormed.

Not even the biggest MAGAs believe that is true. If it was, then it's a massive coincidence that all of those who were filmed and caught breaking the law turned out to be outspoken Trump cultists.

Unless they had spent years cultivating their personas on the off-chance that Trump lost the 2020 election and they needed to start a riot

The Shamen guy is in jail because he illegally entered the Capitol building by force with the help of a baying mob of fanatics who physically attacked the Capitol police.

The chief of the Capitol police has already answered why he was given a "guided tour" - the cops were told to try to de-escalate the violence as they were heavily outnumbered.

It was Antifa though. Come on.

They all went straight from a Trump rally where he told them to walk to the Capitol and fight like hell or they wouldn't have a country left!

Oh hold on it was actually antifa.

And the poor shamen guy is in jail because he pleaded guilty. So unfair.

So they took him to a door which had to be blanked out in the video as the secret method of entry was a national security risk.

And then there is stuff like this where the DOJ failed to produce discovery, lied about it, and illegally spied on defence communications.

Trump has abandoned all of the cultists who were arrested too.

I think that they were expecting pardons

I feel like this quote is relevant and ironic:

"I like my people who weren't captured" - Donald Trump referring to John McCain being a POW.

Yes - apart from the bit where you assert that "the method of entry was a national security risk".

Where did you get that from?

The door was blurred at the behest of the Capitol police but there hasn't been anything released by Fox (or anyone else for that matter) about the "method of entry being a national security risk."

If that's true then it's reprehensible.

It doesn't change the facts of what we're discussing though does it?

How safe are the other convictions, can we answer that?

You said it was because the "method of entry" was a national security risk.

Where did you read that the method of entry was a national security risk?

The censorship restrictions were declared when the video was released.
