    Former Premier League Champions currently have a net debt of £312m according to @swissramble

    Staggering when you consider their recent fortunes.

    the club noted that the increasing level of debt was addressed after the end of the season by King Power converting another £194m of debt and accrued interest into equity, thus strengthening the balance sheet

    Though it's just transferring the debt from the 'club' to the 'owners'. It's not exactly wiping it off, but it does make the club appear a more attractive proposition.

    Not up to speed with DTE, but I thought there was a limit in how much an owner could convert within a season , £300m seems an awful lot to me.
