There was no mention of Etete in the WOL pre-match blog.

    Hopefully he is OK.

He was standing pitch-side with the other players at Rotherham after the match was suspended - not on a treatment table or strapped up - which was a good sign.

That could be one of two things though.

It is royally ****ed so not much can be done now.
Hopefully it is the case that it was better than first thought.

I expect the season tickets will be rushed out if we don’t lose on Saturday.

Will we see Robinson again this season? Not sure we will. Good news on O’Dowda it seems and you’d like to think that Etete will be okay.

There were a few clips of a training session mixed into the club video of Lamouchi pre-Swansea. They seemed to be this week and Etete was there with the rest of the squad (bar O'Dowda who was training separately and the definitely missing: Robinson, Adams and Collins).

He’s had an op apparently so I doubt it.

I think the match is on the sky red button.

It’s not. Games at 3 on a Saturday are not available for broadcast.

Any PMT setting in for anybody?

A win here could be huge.

    Plenty.
With the run of bad luck we seem to be having this last couple of weeks, I wish I was as confident as some on here.
Feeling slightly nauseous already so God knows what I will be like tomorrow!

I spotted the Jacks team bus heading down the A4232 ( heading to Culver from the M4 ) yesterday about 6.30 pm ish , I abused it out of the window, just because if felt like the right thing to do

Not confident about this game at all - if it were any other mid table side on a run as bad as Swansea's then I'd be expecting 3 points, but you just know that Swansea are going to raise their game against us and thn immediately go back to being crap again afterwards

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY. Match thread

I think key to tomorrow will be putting their poor defence and dreadful keeper under pressure.

Get at Fisher quickly. The Jacks dont rate him at all and hes taken a lot of stick after feck up after feck up.

    Badly need O Dowda fit.

    Smash balls into the box?

Canton need to do their bit and let him know of their knowledge of his goalkeeping shortcomings.

    Yep, squeaky bum time.
No score forecast from me. Anything can happen, but usually a Jacks win. That would be a disaster for us.
    Fingers very tightly crossed.

More than that we really need to press their defence and him high up the pitch but plenty of crosses into the box for sure.

Pity our set plays are terrible.

    Match Facts:

    • Cardiff have lost their last two home league matches against Swansea City - they've never lost three in a row before.
    • Swansea City have won their last three league meetings with Cardiff - it's the longest winning run by either team in this fixture in the Football League.
    • Cardiff's Sabri Lamouchi is looking to become only the third Bluebirds manager this century to win his first league match against Swansea - the others are Malky Mackay (1-0 in November 2013) and Mick McCarthy (1-0 in March 2021).
    • Swansea City have had the most build-up attacks (141) and sequences of 10 or more open play passes (668) in the Championship this season. Indeed, it is over 100 more buildup attacks than opponents Cardiff have managed (39) and 472 more sequences of 10+ open play passes than the Bluebirds (196).
    • Only Burnley (13) have scored more goals from outside the box in the Championship than Cardiff this season (10), with 47.8% of the shots attempted by the Bluebirds coming from outside the box (211/441), the highest percentage by a team in a Championship season since Derby in 2018-19 (48.1%, excl. play-offs).

    Anyone think Ralls will start?

He's giving me the impression he is going to start, watching the preview on YouTube.
