    Good player but utterly odious.

Everything that is wrong with modern day footballers.

Talented footballer but severely lacking in other areas....

    Re: Bruno Fernandes

A an aside...look how Newcastle are harrying Man Utd...not letting them settle at all.....does our management/players not look at these games, albeit a different level?

    Re: Bruno Fernandes

....and did Newcastle sit back and try to defend their lead...no way...they went for - and got - a second.

    Just an utter moaning prick.

    Re: Bruno Fernandes

Goes missing, let's players push and run past him and moans about it.

I can't imagine why he was made captain

There's got to be a better leader in that squad. The way he followed the ref around with his arms out like Oliver twist begging...

Bryan Robson must be turning in his bed.

I'm sure it was him in the Liverpool match, someone went past him and he just gave up. Getting hammered but you can't do that.

I can't understand why refs can't go into each dressing room before the game and something like "I'm the ref, I make the decisions, If you crowd around me and harass me you'll be booked, if you touch me you'll be off". Surely that's within their power.

    Absolutely.

I'm surprised it hasn't been cracked down on. Swear at the officials about anything you get a yellow, crowd around them you get a yellow.

    Would soon stop it.

Only the captain gets to ask questions...this may be the only reason Fernandes is captain.

    Absolutely.

And like trigger says below, only allow captains to approach.

I think they'd do well to wear a mic like in rugby as well so everyone knows what's going on/understands decisions.
