So from that perspective I want Notts County to go up and in my eyes they are the bigger club.
Welsh Cup Final mid 90s at the old Arms Park. None of this Wrexham love after the match.

    Re: Wrexham

The Wrexham love in is getting a bit much and this is in the national league.

Seeing on social media new die hard dragons fans in the states.

Fair play to the owners, it's what a plan actually looks like.

I would find it funny if Notts went up instead though.

I got Wrexham probably being League 1 standard and City if I'm honest.

City already have hope of staying up next year with Brum getting 6 points deducted which should help them out.
I think our squad is a bit better than League 1 standard. We’ve had so many frustrating 0-0 and 1-1 draws or 1-0 defeats this season where just 1 decent attacker could’ve snatched us a result.

I’d say our league position is more down to the chopping and changing of the management and hiring the wrong people. Morison was sacked very abruptly and Hudson, with no experience, was thrust into the manager’s seat.

If Morison had stayed all season or we’d signed an experienced manager after his sacking, I don’t think we’d be where we are now.

Hopefully we don’t find out how this squad would fare in League 1 any time soon….

Don’t forget that Vincent Tan also had a plan. The Cardiff Red Dragons were going to be every Malaysian football fan’s second favourite team.

    That went well.

We didn't give him a chance.

Who knows, it could have worked.

Out of interest, when was the last time you thought, we had our club?

May 2012. Of course, in retrospect I know I was deluded, but it certainly felt very different back then, at least as far as I was concerned.

We ( The fans ) have never really owned our club ( unless you class when Ricky Wright signed over the club to the Jnr bluebirds )

but at least we are back to playing in Blue

Respect that, but there were well known owners loading debt into "our club" whilst taking big amounts out of it long before that!

In hindsight it probably would have but it wouldn’t be the club as we’d know it.

I was pro-red investment at the time but I don’t think the rebrand would have stopped there.

Yes you were deluded but I get your point.

I’m currently in the US and watching the commercialisation of sport shows me exactly where we’re slowly heading.

Perhaps, although I’m not sure there is any kind of correlation between such a situation and the feelings people like me had or have about the club. For me and many others, Cardiff City had always felt like ‘our club’ regardless of who was doing what with the finances until Vincent Tan showed us the error of our ways.

    100% agree with that.

I always thought our supporters would never allow the club to get fuucked over.

Little did I know some stuck their arses up in the air and took it up the ringer with no lube.

    I thought then, fuuck it.

    I've had a drink.

My oldest son still hasn’t come back, said he won’t set foot in the ground again until Tan leaves and has stuck to it. My 2nd boy still comes with me occasionally but it’s not been the same.

Then there was the whole row of 1927 club season ticket holders that I used to sit with who have never come back either.

Notts are winning so you proud to be welsh could still see an english club being promoted over a welsh club.

As Jordi very delicately put it, it was the reaction of the fans that did it for so many as much as the actual deeds of Tan. It's strange how history recalls how the fans pressurised for the return to blue. That really isn't the whole story.

I was in the 1927 club at that time and it wasn't pleasant.

Like your second son, it's never been the same for me since either.

Really hoping he sells up soon, yeah he pumps money in, too much probably though his own crazy decisions and inept mgt, he should just admit defeat now and let someone who has a clue have a go. I’m not sure we’ve ever recovered from the rebrand have we.
Just looking at palace today…..and Brighton, even Brentford and Fulham. Showing how it can be done

Looks like 4 from 5 recent Football League Clubs will be relegated from the National League.
