It’s a given that we can’t actually fork out for newcomers but I’d imagine there’s a few other clubs in the same boat, more or less a self imposed embargo if you like. I know it’s a bit of straw clutching but I’m hoping a good few other clubs owners are putting the brakes on financially creating a bit of a level playing field. One can hope.

I think it's a different person posting. Previously he/she always used to post with the preface "logic dictates" and the style was very different. Also, he/she never posted so frequently and without the passive aggressive, right wing bias. Interesting: maybe it's a hijack!

It endeavours to irritate people on a daily basis and attempts to be clever about it, but fails dismally. I was going to say ignore it and it’ll go away, but ignore it and it’ll change to another of its usernames.

I think it's a huge job because of the issues we have. We need to replace our best centre half, attacking midfielder/winger and centre forward, as well as upgrading the rest of the side. It's a daunting task, and unless we get 5/6 really good players in, we are going to struggle.

I hope Sabri knows some stars in Ligue 2 but Brexit may be a real struggle. Maja and Krasso have got 16 goals each and both are available on free transfers.

Its up to those in charge now - Tan , Dalman , Choo. Last thing we need is a repeat of last season. Lamouchi sacked in Sept/Oct , Sol in charge , then the calls for Warnock to save us again.

It was shit. But it seems like most of us on here are of a certain age. Surviving in Division 2 was what we were all about. And then it got worse. I'm not lacking in ambition, but I used to wish for being back in Division 2 and getting 15,000.
