He was never in the squad I don't believe. He had his own fitness session in front of the away fans before the game though, & was def blowing by the end of it

I’m sure there’s a team that plays a particular style or system that he can shine in
I doubt it’s a Championship team though
Sawyers was one of the biggest disappointments from last season, weather it’s a lack of motivation or his legs have gone who knows.
He can probably still earn a living playing somewhere, and it would be in his best interest to get a move to keep playing.
It will only be a matter of time before he has to hang his boots up, so better to be playing for the next couple of years than sat around, only to find it’s too late.
It’s a short career compared to normal jobs, he’s probably well set up financially, so won’t want to have regrets about wasting the last few years of his career sat on his arse if he’s got any sense!!
Doubt it'll be in the EFL with that work rate. A move overseas I reckon.
Apart from a couple of games he was dire. He and Rinhomota were the big disappointments of last season. We signed three central midfielders and our midfield was worse than the season before. It was unjust that the attackers got all the blame.

If that is likely to happen this week it makes the Luthra to Slough loan (up to January with Luthra continuing to train at Cardiff) more sensible. A semi-detached third choice keeper for a few months getting games, but still part of the squad.

He’s had two (Northampton and Newport) which seemed to have set him back - his career was going nowhere until he scored that hat trick last Tuesday.

Maybe it's a case of waiting to see what happens with Kieffer, whether he's sold to someone else or loaned to us. Maybe if he's sold, we use our last loan on Panzo. Maybe it's Maybelline.
it might also be a case that clubs will only loan to us after they've explored all the other avenues that might lead to getting a transfer fee.
The club can make as many loan signings as it likes. However, only five can be named on a team sheet.
