I felt he's made great strides since joining.
If we sign a striker, he’s never going to play. If he goes on loan, gets 35/40 games under his belt, he’ll come back a better player.
Chelsea are mugs. They’re spending loads on players who Pep doesn’t rate. It’s bizarre. They’re a terribly run football club.

On Football Manager ( who usually get these things right) Mutual consent is when the club agrees to release the player and pay half his remaining contract.
We have to pay him his entire contract unless he agrees otherwise. I would imagine he’s not been paid up in full, as there isn’t any benefit to the club but that’s his money and I definitely wouldn’t accept half if I was him as there is no chance he will get a Championship wage at his next club
I guess it comes down to how stagnating on the bench will hamper his future earnings.
