Maybe having a period of Gardening Leave at the moment which could be prolonged now that Southhampton are relegated and we are effectively a rival - only on the basis that we are in the same league.

Kevin Phillips 10-1. Has just left South Shields after helping them win the Northern Premier. Might know a few cheap players we can sign!

Why would Russell Martin be on the list??

Because the bookies have just imported a standard mid table Champ club template.

They won't have the foggiest yet. Unless someone goes into 1/10 or something silly, it isn't worth looking at.

Is there a reason why Bamba isn't in the betting. I'd have thought he'd be frontrunner at the moment

Steve Cotterill makes an appearance as second fave!

Cotterill is less than happy at Shrewsbury due to behind the scenes shenanigans

The bookies don't have a clue. That's why.

I get that but at least chuck his name in so I can lump on, he’s obvious especially compared to some of the names they’ve thought up!

Luke Williams is interesting. Certainly plays in a very specific style.

Sol has made the bookies list now at 10/1.
Serves me right for sending Skybet a message asking for a price 😊

    That's terrific odds.

Wonder what odds a treble of a random new manager now, bamba taking over in October then warnock in Feb?

I would rather Hudson back then Bamba, in fact I’d rather Purse than Bamba.

That's the type of club, a coach or ex-player should get their first job, not Championship or Premier League club.

Bamba and Relegation would be easy money.

Managing the Uruguay national team, so I guess he couldn't be tempted back over here.

I'd keep an eye on Tony Mowbray to see what Sunderland do with him after yesterday's defeat.
