    FT: Luton 2 - 0 Sunderland. (Luton win 3 - 2 on agg)

Very lively start, Luton score to level the tie and within a minute, Sunderland do everything but score in an amazing scramble - doesn’t feel like it will end with eleven against eleven.

Cody Drameh and Alfie Doughty pressing the flanks for Luton. Can't we get the person who susses our loans to take overall recruitment?

If VAR had been in operation that handball would have been a pen.

Good point, been impressed by Doughty, Tom Lockyer makes it 2-0, Luton are murdering Sunderland in the air.

Lockyer doubles the lead and Cody Drameh seems to have a fancy new way of saying his surname

F*ck Luton. Fanbase full of Tommy Robinson wannabes.

    Come on S’unlan

Doughty’s taking some wicked corners, can’t remember him taking one for us.

Watching this Luton Team I can't help thinking our fans wouldn't be happy if we'd signed some of those players but they are light years ahead of us.

Him and Dramah were excellent for us, both would have started in our team hands down.

They finally got a manager to progress them, to think he was available for free this season when we needed a manager.

While the quality of the football hasn’t been very high, this has been an entertaining game. Both teams putting a real shift in and lots of incident.

What stands out a mile is how much quicker both sides are on the ball than City. Our lot are so ponderous by comparison.

Cody Drameh, oh dear, oh dear.

    Well done Luton

A great achievement for a small club.

Enjoyable game....played at pace. Have to wonder how Luton would get by IF they got promoted, with a gate of 10,500 for such an important game.....less than Wrexham I think.

Drameh drama. How selfish was that? Silly boy.

Nothing new though TLG, even when we have pace we choose not to use it.

The game was a sell out

No more room even if they wanted to sell more tickets

They might do a Brentford which will annoy the big clubs

Enjoyed the game even though the standard was not great. Both teams would beat City hands down.
Luton by far the better side and good luck to them at Wembley.
Have got no chance whatsoever in the Prem.

They said that about Brentford and Bournemouth

Maybe they’ll spend £110M on 30 players, like last years play off winners with a Welsh manager

And the rest! £110m doesn't even scratch the surface.

What a journey Luton fans have had.

Championship 06/07 to the Conf Prem by 09/10.
5 Seasons there before promotion in 13/14.
Back to the championship for 19/20.
Play off last season, now one match away from the premier league.

    Totally agree.
I watched this game in preference to the Milan semi. Luton were big, tough and on it.
But I can't see them succeeding against Premiership opposition.

Folk seem to forget that Luton had at least two spells in the old First Division - it wasn't only their episode outside of the Football League

In the 50s's, they had England internationals, like Ron Baynham, Sid Owen and Bernard Stretem ('The Cat').

Then in the 80's they had top players such as Ricky Hill and Brian Stein.

Eric Morecombe was a director and David Pleat a manager.

    They have pedigree.
