It's a cult venue and in a nice location but I don't really see what's great about it. Lists like that are about what celebrities will cheer lead for it. Still, good for them!

I've done 4 of those listed.
I quite like the tramsheds as a venue, think it is better than Clwb Ifor Bach anyway
I'm with Sludge on this. Newport Centre was bloody awesome in the 90s. Don't understand why they shut it down.
Not enough revenue, suffered terribly from lack of investment , badly hit by net immigration , massive drug problem , allowed Terry Matthews to run amok and build his own and funded £22.5m grant into ICC Venue where folk with cars are buggered , built in a nice immigration tribunal centre nearby in Langstone so out of the way costs welsh taxpayers £2,500 in taxi fares per month ..
Love a good plan , run down the city centre , dreadful health care , welcome to soclaslsist wales
I've never been, and not sure if I'll ever get the chance now, but I'd love to see a gig at the Brixton Academy. I'm surprised it's not on the list.
