It's all a bit predictable eh
It is, but that still doesnt take away from the statement I made, ( as GLC once said ) you knows its true

You moan about south Wales ‘plastics’ supporting the big English teams yet you support the big English government and parliament instead of getting behind your local, Welsh government and parliament.

    Why?

I voted for the Welsh assembly

I don't think it's doing a very good job but it's better than being totally run from London

I would like proportional representation brought into Westminster but as things stand I think we in South Wales have more in common with Bristol than we do with Brecon or Aberystwyth

The Welsh assembly was brought in by a Labour Government . Without it the independents have a far bigger platform than before . However it seems Wales is not interested in independence and I agree with those voters who reject it .

It is neither a nation nor a country. If I followed your logic I could call Dorset or Devon a country. Have some decorum please.

It's nothing to do with nationalism; it's all about Socialism v Capitalism. There's plenty of rich capitalists in Wales just like anywhere else: I have nothing in common with them. Wales also voted for Brexit, that's another reason to distance myself.

Your grandfather Dai and your father (what's his name?) sound like eminently sensible people.

Thinly veiled. ‘Every bugger in Ely is a benefit dependent scrounger, up to no good’...........Not so thinly veiled, ‘I’m a ‘I’m a better than you true blue Tory bigot’.

Not at all, just stating the principle that people vote for what works best for them and their families, Ely like most of Wales has a demographic that will vote Labour.

No one is better than anyone else, everyone makes their own choices in life and some people are on benefits because they are ill or sick, I didn't say anything bad about that just stated a fact.

I didn't say I was better than anyone or that I was tory.

You on the other hand oh look at me, I'm better than you I'm in Barcelona and Pisa!

I know, us socialists actually going on holiday, what’s the world coming to eh? Equality for all mate, that’s the way forward not snide comments about the less fortunate, then your next post protesting ‘I didn’t say anything bad’. Your agenda sticks out a mile and it stinks.

Am I ok to go to Turkey in a fortnight for the game please?

The extra money has to come from somewhere, so taxes will increase if spending is to increase, of course, they will try and tax the wealthiest significantly more, but that won't work the super-rich will just move money around and use overseas or UK loopholes and good accountants. So yes everyone will have to pay even more if they can get away with it.

Of course not but the vote goes for the demographic of the area and as people have stated, Ely always has been and probably always will be Labour, because they feel it will benefit them more, or do you think it's because they have a pretty rose on the badge?

The shower of shit at the other end of the M4 is making him out to be better than he is but I do think he handled the pandemic really well and has tried his best and I think he genuinely wants what's best for Wales.

It was a disaster, he killed our economy and wanted to lock down forever, Westminster overreacted too, but he and Sturgeon made it much harder than it should have been.

The country is in a mess because of the overreaction, if they had their way we would be in a much worse state, furlough and lockdown we will be paying the furlough and business loan money back in taxes for the rest of our lives as it is.

Where have you found evidence that a labour government is going to increase welfare benefit spending over and above the cost of living ?

Guess which benefit loads of people in North Cardiff get ?

He was a hero; he saved many lives. In those circumstances the economy rightly takes a back seat.

I think that he did a good job in unique and very difficult circumstances.

Was Wales' death rate much different to England's? And was that down to demographic and housing differences or the head of government?
