b: it'll Ultimately fizzle out but leave Russia Inna weaker position
c: it's an exit strategy for Putin, blaming Ukraine failures on others
d: it's all a ruse to cover up troop movement for a counterpunch tricking the Ukrainians.

Prigozhin has already gone on record as saying that the Russian public have been misled about the real reason behind the invasion of Ukraine.
He said it was a “racket” perpetrated by a corrupt elite chasing money and glory without concern for Russian lives.
