If that goal was scored in the Premier League it would be goal of the season. And I was there, pity we lost !

Take That
Goalkeeper Twat !
Grange End. We need a Grange End. It was our heart and soul.
I can’t find it on a quick search.
I’m sure that I’ve seen footage of it somewhere.
Think it was in this game.

Best strike I’ve ever seen down the City
Buchanan v swansea
I think the purity of the strike surprised Peter King more than anyone to be fair. The ball coming down from that trajectory meant it was probably a hit and hope effort, a one in a hundred chance of making a perfect connection. Very few players would even attempt that shot now, preferring to control the ball before crossing it back in again.
King’s goal is great. Just behind Whitts goal against Barnsley for me. Whiits probably has at least 5 of the best goals scored by a City player
IMO far better than JB strike, Wasn't at this games but i cannot remember seeing a better strike than this at NP.
Some good ones here.

I was a kid, sat on the bob bank wall right behind Peter King as he lined it up. Never forgot it.
Enoch,
Further to my earlier post about Peter King's goal (the best I have ever seen in nearly 65 years watching Cardiff City) and the screamer from Bobby Woodruff here is an eight minute YouTube clip featuring both.

Thank you for that Steve. I agree with you about Peter King's goal - definitely my favourite. I had completely forgotten that Frank Parsons had saved a penalty ( interesting to see his gamesmanship leading up to it) but he plumbed the depths later. I've just looked up Frank Parsons' Wiki page which says he was a Wales U23 international which can't possibly be correct.
