    20/20 Blast cricket

Anyone into this 1 day game ? I’ve been to a few games in this competition and really enjoyed them, even though “Glammy” have not been doing so good. I was brought up on the old Gillette Cup all those years ago, which led to other one day competitions further down the line, in which the likes of Clive Lloyd and Ian Botham provided plenty of action. It may not be as cultured as the County Championship or Test matches, but at least you get entertained, and in most cases, you are guaranteed a result. I’m looking forward to watching the closing fixtures, starting later this week, and I’m sure there’ll be fireworks in the knockout stages too. That’s good enough for me.

I enjoy it and most of the counties get decent sized crowds in.
Can't be doing with the 100 though.

The Blast is always good, it's a great way to spend an afternoon or evening. Glamorgan were very frustrating towards the end this time round but it's interesting to see that the attendance record was broken for this season's group games. I guess the good weather helped but it's a positive sign all the same.

Great to see. I know a lot of the other crisp tournament grounds have struggled with gates this year.
