Yes I started at Paxton Street in 1992, worked there for 5 years. Had quite a few referrals back and forth with SYSHP. I think the Wallich took over Paxton Street after the Cyrenians folded. I left in 2010, 18 years working in that field took its toll.

Well played butt, 18 years is a fair old stint.

The lay out in Paxton Street used to give me kittens when I visited there.

So far the men have beaten Austria and a local (church based) team and only narrowly lost to Brazil and Hungary.

The women have one game out of five but only lost on penalties to Hungary so got a bonus point for that

Wales men have Scotland at 7pm tonight, then Sweden at 9.20pm.(local time in Sacramento)

Currently 3rd in a group of 7, top 4 go through to the main competition, so an important night. All games live online apparently.

He’s been with the LA Times today and says there’s loads of TV stations and newspapers reporting. Be great if Wales can get through, more recognition for us hopefully.
