That's what I call playing out from the back by Gabbidon. Direct football at its best, back to front within seconds with not a hoof in sight - a lovely goal, as was Simon Davies' that night.

That's what I call playing out from the back by Gabbidon. Direct football at its best, back to front within seconds with not a hoof in sight - a lovely goal, as was Simon Davies' that night.
2 brilliant pin point passes , one to split the midfield and one to split the defence, all rounded off with individual skill and a great finish.
Beautiful.
I was there with about 6 or 7 gents in the mid tier at the half way line. There was a good atmosphere that night and a real buzz in the air.
That Gabbidon pass was like a knife through butter. That Bellamy finish reminded mena bit of Rush versus Germany around 12-15 years or more earlier. Direct ball, a sprint and a finish.
Deadly stuff.
When he turned to his right after scoring he was running directly towards me. It felt like me and him celebrating the goal together
