Love the love in , even the Corbyn fans are holding their noses , is he locked in a cellar with Ange ?? Where's the Abbott ??

Hate to tell you if you vote for the current Labour Party you are just voting for a Tory government with a different coat they want power so much they are rolling back on most things and sounding Tory like , because of the inept nature of Labours policies since Blair and its self harm attack on his government and the likes of David Miliband , they now have decided they like Blairism as it might give them a chance , yes the current goverment is shite but don't fool yourself if you think this opposition
is going to transform your lives into some form of socialist utopia , your not reading back your old anti Blair and pro Corbyn messages , new Labour cant get rid of its elite London smell ( ask Andy Burnham after a pint or two )..

Sir Keir ruling out child benefit for families with more than 2 kids - even though he was elected as Labour leader on that pledge.

"A Labour government will always want to invest in its public services. The way to invest in our public services is to grow our economy.” - Straight of Thatcher's handbook of economic quotes.

Even Mick got in on the act- Keir Starmer has 'got to show he's on the side of working people and I don't think we're seeing that'
He also chimed in with "many people can't spot the difference" between Labour and the Conservative's at the moment.

Labour is supposed to be the socialist party - there's not much of that on display

    Re: Ben Wallace.

Is there a promise/pledge that Starmer hasn’t broken?

Genuine question - I can’t think of one (from more than 6 months ago).

Breaking promises seems to be the new 10 Pledges.

I know what he (and his supporters) claim is the reason for all this U turning, but to me it shouts lack of ambition, lack of vision, smallness, and chronic dishonesty.

We all knew it though. Because in the last year a lot of populist stuff has been touted about 'destroyed economies', 'Tory mortgage crisis', 'cost of living catastrophe's', Tory asylum choas' etc. All of this shit is easy to say but hard to solve and the solutions he proposed wouldn't have solved anything, hence having got the big bounce in the polls by saying this stuff he rows back.

There will be no noticeable difference between the likely future Labour govt and this current one. The difference will come in the fact that Labour will hopefully have more favourable political winds blowing, as that would be in all our favours. Most governments in power during covid, be they left or right has been voted out or is in the process of it happening.
