I assume the work being done was to add more adverts for the hosting service to pay their bills, basically unusable on iPhone now for me due to infinite scrolling ads at the bottom of the page. Desktop version not quite as bad but still pretty slow.
In that link posted above you can see how many (slow) calls are being made to services like GumGum and Google Ads... I've had a customer before who was in the AdTech space, those are taking at least 10-15x as long as they should be.
If I click on a thread, I now get a full page advert before going to the thread itself, which is a new step. Any page is now 40% adverts with 2 at the top & 1 at the bottom.
I’m using Chrome on an iPad and haven’t yet found an Ad blocker that works for this combination.
