Speaking to a German scuba diving instructor yesterday ( as you do..)
We had a long chat about economics, the eurozone etc
He was saying how inflation is hurting the economy in Germany, recession and interest rates. Strangely he thought the uk was doing ok , until he realised we are in the same boat
He’s off to work on the cruise ships next week, so little to no tax to pay , which probably explained his very happy attitude plus he didn’t have a mortgage 😀
