I thought QPR were resigned to losing Ilias Chair over the summer. Can see him causing us problems

With Ainsworth in charge anything could happen.

..and therein lies our problem. No, we can't pay fees like other clubs at the moment, but more than that we just don't bring in anyone really decent any more. [Ramsey excl. but I have my reservations there]. Cook is a great asset to any club. Saturday will be very interesting indeed..

You don't think Josh Bowler is decent?

Seems good, yes, but Cook has a good PL pedigree, helped forest to promotion, and IMHO always looked comfortable against top clubs. Imagine what he could do for our defence.

So if Cardiff had the choice of only signing Aaron Ramsey or Steve Cook, you'd go for Cook?

Bear in mind there's probably someone on a QPR board right now asking why they've signed a slow, ageing centre half, instead of an exciting young winger like Josh Bowler.

As for QPR, no idea what's going on there. They have some excellent players in their squad but it's an absolute shit show from the outside looking in.

How many other clubs can you think of whose chairman also plays for them?

Certainly a game we should be looking to win.
QPR in poor form. To date anyway.
Reasonably optimistic we can put our poor home form of recent history to bed.

My first game since Bristol earlier this year - hell of a journey for me 420 round trip...I do fancy us tomorrow -1.0 Bluebirds

Isn’t he the “Rothergate” ref ?

    Umbrellas at the ready

Same starting line up as last week for me. With Meite injured might we see tanner on the bench? Also, given his performance midweek I'd put Colwill on the bench over rinomhota, who was poor against Leeds when he came on.

Tanner and Colwill deserve places on the bench.

Meite, who is injured, and Rinomhota, who’s far from great.
