Last time I looked it was on a Saturday....to coincide with our holiday in Suffolk. That said, I've been to some daft places mid week. Brighton, Port Vale, West Ham, Brentford, Blackburn. Hats off to those that went to Carlisle though.
Add, Middlesbrough and Hartlepool (Newcastle on a Friday night)

Add these midweek trips as well, Sunderland, Hartlepool and Scarborough
Tavistock (on a Monday?). Another holiday which happened to coincide with a pre-season City match.

Sure is - goodness knows why I thought it was a Tuesday. Mixing it up with Birmingham, probably. Mind you, it's even further on a Saturday.
