Well if we were wearing it during the game then why would the club be saying fans need to arrive early to grab a glimpse of it?

Obviously if we were wearing it during the game then you could turn up 20 mins in and you would get just as good a view of it?

As if we were playing in it you wouldn't see it until kick off.....

Yeah agree. It just all seems a bit odd to not really give an explanation.

It's all smoke mirrors and marketing.

Maybe sell a few more pints at £6.50 to put an 'exclusive' ad on the screen before it goes online 5 mins later.

Media dept's at all these clubs trying to out do themselves

MASSIVE day. MASSIVE game. Can't wait.

Not a "must win" in terms of points, it's still so early. But a MUST WIN for the confidence of the team.

Everything looks like it's going in the right direction right now, except for the results. We need this result.

We need to win this COME ON CITTTYYYYYYY

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Match thread

It might not be a must win game but its deffo a must not lose

A defeat plus another poor performance at home is going to rid the club of the hard work that has been put in

Bulut seems like the man for the job but points win prizes etc etc

Clean sheet would be nice - 1-0 Bluebirds

Vinnie's making a surprise appearance and will be modelling it over his shirt and tie 😁

Cannot afford to lose this one, but with our awful home record last few years, who knows?

    MATCH FACTS

    • Cardiff City have lost their last two league games against Sheffield Wednesday, doing so in the 2020-21 campaign.
    • They haven't lost three in a row against the Owls since May 1984 (run of four).
    • Sheffield Wednesday are unbeaten in five league visits to Cardiff City (W1 D4) since a five-game losing run between 2008 and 2014.
    • Cardiff are without a win in their last five league games (D1 L4), conceding at least two goals in each of those games; it's their longest such run in terms of conceding multiple goals since January 2021 (run of six).
    • Sheffield Wednesday are the only side without a point in the Championship this season (P3 L3); the Owls have only lost their first four games of a season twice before in 1971-72 and 2007-08, both in the second tier.
    • Only Rotherham (28.1%) have had a lower share of possession in the Championship this season than Sheffield Wednesday (31%), while the Owls have the biggest negative differential between goals conceded (7) and expected goals against (3.8), totalling -3.2.

I was surprised to see that their repertoire includes Oasis and The Jam.

It's a must not lose 1 0 or 2 1 like we always do at home v crap teams game.

I wouldn't mind losing 4-5. Would be good to have some goals and entertainment.

Woke up stupid early (before 5) and couldn’t get back to sleep, excited for the game.

Think we are going to put it on them today.
    4-1 City!!

You will be very much in the minority

We clearly need to kick into gear or we will start to become isolated

We cannot have another crap season

Well we aren't going to go up. We probably won't go down.

I just hope entertainment increases even if results don't.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Match thread

Meite starting, hope he’s a little fitter this week.

We need defenders. Id rather Wintle move into defence if there was an injury than have Simpson come on.

    Squeaky bum time now.
Side looking good. Hopefully enough to beat Sheff.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Match thread

Patto as wing back for Sheff. Bugger better not score!
