    O'Dowda injury?

    https://www.extratime.com/articles/3...nternationals/

Troy Parrott and Callum O’Dowda have missed out on a place in Ireland’s squad for the upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers against France and the Netherlands.

O’Dowda has been ruled out with an injury that keeps him out for the next four weeks, while Parrott is only returning to fitness after joining Excelsior Rotterdam on loan.

    Bad news if true.

Confirmed by Bulut, who says two or three weeks.

If Bowler and O’Dowda are both out what was impressive depth on the wing is looking a bit shaky, plus Simpson is now our reserve left back which is terrifying. Wonder if he will now look at a short term loan in that position to get us to the next window.

Tanner the obvious candidate to replace on the wing plus maybe an opening for Kieron Evans to be around the squad a bit more?

We don’t need left backs, we can just play midfielders in defence and strikers as wingbacks
