When was the last time you've seen a City team control possession for that long, knock it from side to side and then score a goal like that? That was the kind of passage of play Morison dreamed of but never got anywhere close to.
Although of course then we try our best to give it right back.

Meite... brilliant build up play again, surely harder to miss than score. He's looking like Max Watters so far in front of goal this season.

Great play superb cross Meite has to bury that. If thats Moore its 2 nil. To be fair Meite has done ok but that has to be put away.
His link up play is great but Jesus that’s was a shocking miss
Going forward, I think we've shown we've got the bare bones of a pretty decent side and really should have scored at least 2. Defensively not great at times... Siopis still figuring out where he needs to be and McGuinness and Goutas just not convincing together at all.
All in all though...we are not looking half bad are we...as long as we don't do anything silly.....
Meite needs a goal to settle.
His hold up play has been very good though.
Loved that first half nice to have a midfield again it's been a while.
An excellent half, going to be a nervy 2nd half but we have the capability to get the points here.
Ugbo on for Tanner? Thought he had a decent first half...
Has he gone two up front, or moved Meite out wide? Hopefully, Ugbo can nick another us another goal! Missed Siopis’ debut but he looks class, broken up a few attacks already.
