Watching Livingstone v Celtic.
Celtic are a man down after keeper Joe Hart was sent off in the first half. They are cantering at 2 nil up. 3 sides of the ground are full of Celtic fans waving Irish flags. Not a saltire in sight.
The opposition outwith the old firm is gash.
They are both big fish in a small pond. One thinks it’s an Irish club, the other thinks it’s English. The rest of the clubs are a terrible standard.
Why any player outside of Scotland would want to go there is beyond me.
I'm a big fan of Scottish club football but it's hard to disagree with much of the thrust of what you say. It's getting on for 40 years since anyone outside the big two won the league and I don't think anywhere else is like that?
Hibs, Hearts and Aberdeen have moved forward in recent years, and Hearts esp now pretty much sell out each week and being a big club in a big city and one of Europe's most beautiful cities too, you would think they are an attractive club to own, but seemingly not.
It's sad cos outside the top two it's a great league system with some interesting clubs, grounds and stories.
It's better than Welsh food
And Welsh football
They are support English clubs here anyway
I'm struggling to think that they are casting envious eyes at the current Welsh set up , be it domestic or international, and think that they wish that they were in the same position.
