Ryan Wintle , Silent But Deadly

    Well not quite

But he does what it says on the tin

Very neat and tidy player and able to cover for the likes of Tanner and Colwill when they are running around like Tom cats up front

I thought you might have been talking about his farts.

Yes, neat and tidy and gets on with the job in hand bringing others in.

People were raving about him when he first arrived, partly perhaps because he didn't have a lot of quality around him.

Siopis's arrival has allowed him to get on with the task in hand without having to be the standout performer.

He's a functional midfielder who can play anywhere in the middle

Sort of unsung hero we need

He's average, if we want to be challenging , we need better

Or as we used to say in school; "Silent but Violent".

Especially after our Llantrisant Primary school lunch: condom-like covered burnt sausages, gone off tinned beans, deep fried chips and semolina with jam for dessert. Paarp!

Isn't "silent but deadly" a description of certain peoples' farts?

Next season we need to ensure that Ralls is a reserve who can come in when required, not have a starting place

I prefer Siopis. Loud and wet from all the running.

    True.
I don't know what, if any, are his strengths?

Feck me they are all in tonight !

If we were pushing for promotion we would need a top 3 championship player

We are not , we are trying to stay up , get competitive and get stable

That's why he's a useful player for this team

Do people want us to sign Zico ?

We are not in a position it appears to be going for promotion so Wintle is exactly what is required

Sludge, baby- you wouldn't know a football if it hit you on the head!

That phrase I just used, it reminds me of a time when Bobby Moore had just passed away. City were at home and if my memory serves me right it was a 3pm kick-off, sunny weather, and a bumper crowd in the old 4th Division.
They had a minute's silence and some unruly, pissed-up idiots came onto the Grange End and broke the silence.
A City fan shouted to them.... "Shut up, you wouldn't know a football if it hit you on the head" - they did shut up.
