Luckily, Rambo brings more to the whole squad than just being on grass and playing. Hopefully it’s just three weeks then there is the international break.

Robinson or Colwill. Hopefully he'll keep the 4-2-3-1 formation with one of those 2 at 10 rather than reverting to a more defensive set up (although it worked against Sunderland).

It made sense against Sunderland and Coventry to an extent, but you've got to feel that Robinson or Colwill would be more suited to the game against Rotherham

Here's hoping the further tests don't find something much worse.

Was always likely to happen at some point.

Just a shame though as he seemed to building up his match fitness well.

Hopefully it doesn't drag on too long.

Need Robinson to get his own fitness isues sorted now.

I'd like to see Colwill start a game. The Rotherham game would be perfect, as we should win quite easily (famous last words!), and there will be less pressure on him

    2-0 Rotherham nailed on.

Fingers crossed it’s not an ACL…. would obviously harm our season if we lost the best player in the league

Is there any expected return for O'Dowda and Bowler? That's quite a few of our big hitters out now, we could get thin on the ground quite quickly if a few more went down.

Reading between the lines (or being extremely paranoid) I think it's going to transpire being something like this, he's just put a post on instagram stating he's going to be seeking 'specialist advice on next steps'. That smells of a big injury keeping him out for a significant amount of time.

Bulut said he hopes Bowler next week and O'Dowda maybe 2 weeks.

Also says he "Wants to get back and help the team as quickly as I can"

Indeed, that could mean anything mind, 'as I can' could be 3 weeks or 6 months.

Ha ha Yes just back, what a blow, stupid Wales friendly started this.

Players, we can't replace, Ramsey, Collins, Goutas, and McGuiness, yes people can come in but it's a big drop in standard, that's a real blow!

Let’s hope that the Welsh set up don’t push for him to play, if he was still with the Arse, I’d be saying ‘Get him with the national squad and assess him’. Things are a bit different now. I’m a selfish bastard, springs to mind.

Let's be honest, there's a lot of worrying words and phrases being thrown around, if it's 3-4 weeks we'll all breathe a sigh of relief, but some of this language sounds a lot like when a player ends up being out for a significant period of time.

When they rule themselves out of international duty, they tend not to play in their very next club fixture.
It's like they don't want any finger pointing from the nationalist, Ryan Giggs being an obvious exception to this.

Bulut said it’s not an ACL injury, he was talking about a possible rupture of a tendon.

Still doesn't sound great, google doesn't like it - Sounds like months to me.

How long does a ruptured tendon take to heal?
The repaired tendon will usually be back to full strength after about 12 weeks. But, it can take up to 6 months to regain the full range of movement.

Is a ruptured tendon worse than a tear?
The terms “tear” and “rupture” are often interchanged when speaking about damage to tendons and other body parts. A common question we're asked is “what are the differences between a tear and a rupture?” Surprisingly, there are no differences between a complete tear and a rupture.
