Don't give me any lessons on Northern Soul - I was at the casino when you were at the brandy bridge dancing to whisky in the jar....You remind me of those Red Necks who thought funk was the devil music.

The black fist emanates from the Black Power movement of the 60s. Without that movement we probably wouldn't have seen the prominence and rise of the likes of 50 cent. So basically, we should thank Mr Soul for promoting the future rise of Black rap artists.

Ooooooo...one upmanship...you made it to the casino and I didn't! Therefore your balls must be much bigger than mine LMFAO

One, I've never been to the brandy bridge wherever that is and two, I have never ever danced to Whisky In The Jar, nor am I ever likely to.

Also, it is permissible to like more than one genre of music. For instance you like or liked Northern Soul and now you like (c)rap!

I might listen to mainly Northern Soul these days, but I have no problem with liking some (only some mind you!) classic 70s rock bands, as well as reggae, ska and 2Tone, the blues, doo wop and rockabilly.

Nice one. I hope you had a great time on the danc3 floor to some of those Northern tunes.

I just love the rawness of 50s rockabilly

Your avatar like your taste in music is 50 years out of date.

That's because 'old' music is the best. Seriously, there isn't much, if anything at all, that I like after about 1989 music wise
