    Millwall release Rowett

And ex City player Mark Kennedy given the boot by Lincoln. Maybe he’ll add it to a new diary entry.

    Millwall are 15th ?

Not as if its Xmas and they are in the relegation zone

A few wins and they could be top ten

    Worlds gone mad

They spent a few quid in the summer which is unlike them and results have been very patchy this season, but still a surprise as overall he had them punching above their weight.

Their fans loved Harris, that's possible, but a mistake, lets hope he gets it.

I didn’t realise that Mark Kennedy was a manager until I saw this morning that he’d left Lincoln City.

Didn’t Kennedy play for Millwall once?

If Rowett has left Millwall, maybe they would consider Kennedy.

Ye, he signed for Liverpool from them as a teenager if I remember rightly.

I reckon Gary Rowett is one of those managers with a reputation for playing a style of football which isn't really popular with fans and so they tend to turn against him quicker than they would against most managers. He's a good, solid Championship level manager who I think will find a new job quite quickly if he wants to stay in the game, but he's been given a lot to spend by Millwall standards in the last eighteen months or so and yet they've had a few very unMillwall like 3-0 losses this season.
