Often a day or two late with these though as they'll be bombed out!

Friday collection now deferred until Saturday. I've got 2 full green bins. I hope their plans are not unravelling.

Green bins collected in Radyr on Tuesday after the council said they wouldn’t be collecting

    Re: Green Bins/Garden Waste

The Council finally emptied my green bin this week, after two months of waiting. The thing is, I've got a lot of garden waste, so it's going to be back out again straight away.

Cyncoed and Rhiwbina is now on Tuesday - 3rd deferral. I suspect Llanishen will be the same

They were always going to keep getting delayed, they are all full so will need much more frequent trips back to empty the bin lorry.

That is probably true, however, rescheduling green bin collections has been a regular feature in recent times even when there hasn't been an industrial dispute. In my experience the Council's record in collection of all other refuse has been pretty good, it's the green bins is where they haven't quite got their act together.

Yes true it's been a poor service to be fair, low priority for them.

No, the app says leave your bins out and they’ll get round to collecting them when they can

It may sound flippant, but seriously, aside from the street lighting if the Council f****d off and locked the door[s] to County and City Hall, would there be any noticeable difference ?
