We can argue team selections, tactics, formations etc., but nothing will alter the fact that apart from Siopis, the players around him in midfield and in front of him are incapable of holding up the ball, finding space, passing the ball. To add to our woes Siopis has predictably run out of steam and ideas, and he's probably wondering what he's let himself in for.
Lately we look a beaten team even before the 1st goal has been conceded..

I don't think we look beaten, It's not like their heads are down. We just look like something's missing. Which it is.

Sitting here looking at the Brentford game...they are full of energy and running and no little skill...and I am think..."what did they do right....?"

They progressed gradually, they were patient, they passed the ball around and they spent a lot of money.

    And they had Ivan Toney.

They were the original UK money ball team, they paid big sums for players, but their scouting system was so good that they were always able to sell a healthy percentage of them for a big profit. Therefore, they could then repeat the process by spending a bit more on their purchases and make themselves more money when the time came to sell them on.
