Villa having one of their off colour away days at Brentford, 1-0 down midway through the second half, Arsenal leading by the same score against Brighton and Wolves have just lost out to another tight VAR call and so are still 2-0 down at West Ham.
In the Championship, West Brom and Stoke drew 1-1 at lunchtime.
Definite red.....but should have been a Penalty to Brentford almost straight after....hope they hold on.....
Villa equalise, they’ll probably go on to win now.
...and blow me Villa just equalised....after a definite red card for Brentford and then what SHOULD have been a penalty to Brentford.
Why did VAR not even seemingly look at that?
Arsenal go 2-0 up. West Ham now 3-0 and Villa 2-1 up.
Not much time for Brighton to save their record of scoring in nineteen straight games.
...almost the greatest own goal ever from Villa......¬!!!
Half an hour in and Liverpool looking sloppy again. I’m beginning to think this is a bit like the season when Leicester won the league in that none of the big sides are quite as good as you’d expect them to be. Is it setting itself up fora Villa title?
Endo booked..probably rightly...but the Man U player going down clutching his head???
Is it me, or are there more long balls in this Liverpool game, also see more shooting from outside the box.
Much better than the tika talka 24 passes in the box to score a goal
Disappointing game...Brentford v Vila much better.
For a nil nil draw i thought it was decent.
Little quality in the final third with few shots and saves but a game of chess, stalemate.
Although it will feel like a win to MU and a loss for L'pool.
Thought Michael Oliver was harsh on Dalot two yellows for the same incident as he had a great game til then.
He will be a relieved man that they held out.
