This is one game that we should win, so let's hope it happens. going LLWLLLW isn't good enough, though - if we can't win, then we need to pick up some draws here and there. Losing too many 'easy' games.

Think I would be happy with a draw given our current form. Weds have picked up a lot lately and with 2 ex City in their ranks you just know what could happen.

Hopefully it means Macca wins it with a bullet header in the 95th minute (curse of the ex player)!

    But probably not.

If Ng is out and the magic of Monday's 'reset' team meeting has worn off - it could be another miserable day!

Am unusually pessimistic about this game. We will have to play an awful lot better than we have lately. Perhaps it is Macca's time.

Maybe one of those games when performance is as important as the result. If we're outplayed against a weak - albeit improving - Wednesday, then it's more than a 'blip'...

Ralls starts, Wintle on bench, Robinson and Meier play.

Glad to see Ralls back, looks like the right team but players need to step up, we need to see much more individually especially in the wide areas.

Lethargic, ponderous, only ‘play’ a maximum of one half a match. You have to ask why. No one gets any answers.

Not a comment...just facts. It is assumed most people can find what the team is....even from WOL mostly.

Were a better team when Ralls plays

Re: SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

We have some decent skill in the front four but feck me if the decision making isn't absolutely shocking. Seems like the wrong decision every single time. Guess they'd be playing at a higher level otherwise but still, massively frustrating.

Not too good to go down right now without signings in January. This is as bad as anything under McCarthy.

Great challenge by Bowler !!! Just stood there and let him go..

Goutas made the striker's mind up for him diving in like that

Re: SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Really poor again today so far.

We just can’t get the ball (against Sheffield Wednesday!) and when we do, we can’t keep it for more than 3 seconds.

Re: SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

    For Fcuk Sake!!!

We really have some players that don’t offer anything.

Robinson is not an attacking midfielder.
Grant and Bowler are very ineffective.

We just cannot hold the ball in midfield.
