    according to an interesting analysis I've seen he could be argued to be the 12th best of all time, in between Eusebio and Landon Donovan.

    They have Graham Alexander and Matt LeTissier as 2nd and 3rd respectively

    Id counter argue that by saying that Le Tissier was taking them against better goalkeepers than Alexander was plus he has the better conversion rate

    yeah it's a difficult comparison even if there weren't other variables like level being played at.
    it also isn't clear cut that a goalkeeper at a higher level will be necessarily better at saving penalties as it's only part of their skill set
