    Sub Arbroath Keeper scores worldie

Due to injuries brought on sub keeper and played him up front. Scores a worldie from 30+ yards

Love things like this! You wonder how many keepers might make decent outfield players - and vice-versa

I used to manage a junior team with a bloke who played as a keeper somewhere in the reserves at West Ham back in the day. He was a quality outfield player compared to the rest of us. Not a high bar admittedly.

That’s second tier Scottish football as well, so not a bad standard. I may be wrong, but I don’t think someone who plays outfield every week would have tried a shot like that.

You're right, Goalkeepers are potty bastards. I love it when they come up for a corner and it's arms legs and arse all over the place, they challenge like no outfield player can

Josh Magennis was an interesting one. Thought he looked a decent keeper (admittedly on the evidence of a PSF at Weymouth )
