    Anyone watching the AFCON football?

Down to the last 16, knock out stage starting Saturday 27th.
Tunisia & Algeria bottom of their groups.
Morocco looking good mind. They've got South Africa next week, should be a cracker!

Caught a few games. The Cameroon v Gambia game on Tuesday was absolutely mental. When the guy punched the ball into the net in injury time then started laaughin when he got caught by VAR He was no Maradona.

The way Ivory Coast capitulaed against Equitorial Guinea was crazy too. To call it Sunday League defending would be an insult to Sunday League footballers.

Their use of VAR is different to say the least. Refs wont give them any time to look into things, which isnt a bad thing but theres been some stonewall penalties not given and then not given enough time to overturn.

I've only caught the evening matches but didn't see any use of VAR last night. The ref was very good last night tbf.

A lot of the players playing for European clubs. Two subs came on and one was with Leverkusen and another Lecce.

Crowds are small, 15k last night & mostly Moroccans in the stadium.

Personally, I am not interested at all and don’t watch any of this tournament.
    Each to their own though.
