What ground has eluded you hitherto?

Seeing as City's game is off today I thought I would get around to seeing Bristol Rovers at home for the first time ever.

Despite being in the same class at school as two chaps who eventually played for Rovers i.e. Jon Moore and Phil Bater (the latter having managed them too), the experience has always eluded me.

I've been to the Nou Camp, the Bernabeu and the San Siro but I'm half a pint away from the big one (and in an excellent real ale bolt-hole just yards away).

The old Olympic Stadium in Munich.
For reasons unknown I was totally captivated by the sweeping glass roof.

Didn't you ever see them play at Eastville Stadium?

You missed the showering of pennies by Rovers fans in 1983 then? Apparently, it’s a sign of friendship they reserve just for visiting supporters they like most.

Belgium’ national stadium, as I got deported before the game like hundreds of others.

It's certainly a throwback to days of yore, here.
It's not all-seated and stanchions block the view.
    Good craic though.

The away terrace at Eastville always seemed huge to me but looking at pictures now it really wasn't that big.
    Strange how memories trick you

Newcastle and Dortmund are 2 grounds I've never been to, and wouldn't mind doing at some point.

PS Just looked at the other board. Sounds like I need to hurry up
