So it's pointless thinking we can

To be fair to bulut though he's got us higher in the league than several others who have spent a lot more

Yes, there are things I think we could be doing that would improve us.

Stop playing 2 defensive midfielders at home. Get full backs further forward and stay out wide. Stop being so demanding of our attacking players in a defensive role. Let them attack. How we play is too negative at times. No wonder we can't score from open play, when we were managing that earlier in the season, even without Ramsey and O'Dowda.

Here's the thing though - we are not the same team we were earlier in the season. Currently we can't compete, can't even create chances. Around this time last season we played [close-to-midtable] Reading at home. We had played 32 games and had 32 points, and were deep in relegation trouble - so a pretty rubbish team by all measures, yet we had 15 attempts on goal which is typically a month's supply for this current side. Puts our manager's effect - positive or otherwise - into perspective..
