Apparently you can't delete wattsapp messages. We see it on every police TV programme. They can access any deleted messages easily.
I saw on a police tv program a policeman kung-fu kick someone through a wall
So you don’t think if needed they are not retrievable for murder cases and other high profile crimes
Don’t be a dick
Furthermore we don’t use what’s app for chat with clients as it’s not compliant with Data Protection
As an aside don't you think it’s very odd that the Welsh, Scottish and English governments have all done the same or is that too terrifyingly against the official narrative for you to understand?
Anything is retrievable if you pay the money. Data loss can cause untold damage to companies and can lead to expensive lawsuits and litigation.
A big company who has had had a huge amount of data lost or stolen from the usual means can expect to have to pay specialist companies around £500k for the data to get retrieved.
So back to the original question….l
Why try and be clever when you’re doing the opposite?
Then again , it’s from you so it’s exactly what you do.
So , don’t you think it’s odd that all the what’s apps related to the entire enquiry have all been deleted when it’s known for a fact that it’s simply untrue that they can’t be retrieved?
Sigh.
Yes, things deleted from computers can often be recovered - but sometimes they cant. If the deleted memory is overwritten with something else then it's obviously a lot more difficult.
Yes it would be interesting to see various deleted messages, but I don't think we can go demanding that Whatsapp give us the keys to their severs over this - no serious crime is committed
If you know how what’s app works you will know that all of its servers are retrievable. You don’t appear to have a clue what you’re talking about so in cases like that , perhaps you should just STFU rather than dropping snide rhetoric
It’s like people who store their data on a cloud , who do you think owns the cloud
Drakeford insisted he didn’t use what’s app

Apparently advised by email to ensure records kept for enquiry….
Who do you think owns the cloud storage?
Anyway , the nuances of recovery aside , don’t you think it’s very odd indeed that all leaders deleted their messages during such an important period in history when they were advised not to delete them because of the fact an enquiry into the data would be made?
“Evidence to Sturgeon's closest ally Liz Lloyd revealed they discussed Covid* decisions on WhatsApp during pandemic, shedding doubt on first minister's*claims she did not do government by WhatsApp. Ex-leader claimed she deleted correspondence bcs there was no decision making on it”
You need to learn a thing or two about digital forensics and tools like Cellebrite.
Nevermind him and Gething trying to cover up their inadequacy, so it’s come to light they didn’t have a clue what to do, they weren’t being careful as he liked to often say, they were in fact just “dithering” clueless fools who were just going against what they did in England because they didn’t like them, nothing to do with the science….all this from the chief medical officer at the time. Can’t believe we let these imbeciles lead us….do they ever expect anyone to listen to them again now?
If anyone thought Westminster was bad - then go and scrutinise Drakeford and Gething - in fact anybody responsible for making Covid decisions in either Wales or Scotland.
We know how bent Sturgeon is - but all her Covid decisions were based on being different to Westminster regardless of the consequences. Drakeford and Gething just followed suit.
Drakeford and his tidal wave of Covid coming straight for Wales... turns out it was all bollox. Policy made up on the back of political hatred to anyone who dares not vote for him.
As per sheep mentality to the end from the Welsh public - apart from a few - who dared to call out the 'great dictator' and his side kick as being a pair of frauds. Neither of them fit to be in office.

All politicians making key decisions in Westminster, Holyrood and the Senedd mistakenly deleted WhatsApp messages completely independently of each other. That's a bit convenient. Another coincidence.
Oh come on, you know the moral guardians are adept at looking the other way when necessary!
Here's Angela Rayner saying how appalling it is that WhatsApp messages were deleted in Scotland. "Irresponsible to those who lost loved ones etc.."
Strangely silent on this one. The sad thing is many in Wales who care when it doesnt affect us, don't care when it does!

We should be suspicious of everyone who deleted 'government' WhatsApp messages. What legitimate reason could there be for that - especially when they all knew an enquiry was coming.
There is probably a lot to hide.
But that doesn't (for me) mean that 'the narrative' was wrong - certainly not in the first 12 months. Not that the politicians always followed the narrative or the science. The scientific advice wasn't 'kill a granny for Christmas'!
I'm with Jon really. I bear no Ill will to politicians, certainly for the start of the covid and the first lockdown, when I don't think any of us knew what we were dealing with.
I think by the second one, the damage they could (and have) caused was clear to see. The obvious response was to get back to normal as much as possible and protect the vulnerable.
I think our society and collective mental and physical health is greatly diminished from covid. Some unavoidable, but some not.
Well said Jon - some people on here trying to score party political points when it seems there are Labour, SNP and Conservative politicians equally culpable. Our of interest, are there any senior politicians who’ve been interviewed by the enquiry who didn’t delete their messages?
