Great win, some better footballer, some excellent defending at the end.
Happens every year, pressure leads to strange results involving teams at the top/ bottom of the table.
One has to ask why why why...can they be so bloody awful one game and then this game they actually play ok?
Sometimes it is down to the opposition?
We did have bad luck on Friday as well as playing badly, that was no penalty and no free kick, On Monday we played well and had a lot of luck, two own goals, although the ref still gave us nothing.Originally Posted by NinianKnight

Not a bad game, but we were gifted two own-goals. Didn't really look like scoring otherwise.
Well, if the ball is put into dangerous areas and we get players in those positions then sometimes there's a bit of luck. Meite had a half chance in the first half that should have worked the keeper a bit more and Grant was clean through and missed the target. Not all bad.
Grant looked like he might when clean through. I’m wrong there with ‘might’, he should have scored.
You didn't see Grant go through one on one?
yeah..it was GRANT though..when he doesnt have time to think like any other player he occasionally scores or does something. Unfortunately he gets time to think in a 1on1 and ..thats where he is lacking..severely.
Grant was put through with a great chance, we need two new actual Strikers and we will be pretty good, we are top half with no strikers.
That was decent enough. Holding on for last 15 minutes, but credit to the defenders and midfield. A bit more fluent in attack and a bit quicker today. Improvement.
