Difference between a top Championship striker and what we have on display there, been coming and Adams should have made it 2

19 minutes in and Meite isn’t pressing nor sprinting. Just jogging around. What a lazy shit he is.

I think Turnbull has looked bright.

    The defence have been shocking.

If we had played with this kind of attacking intent the whole season at home think Bulut would have a lot more supporters

    Ralls has been excellent.

Ralls, Tanner and Ashford have been excellent so far- not sure what Turnbull has contributed other than missing what looked an excellent opportunity.

We are playing ok going forward but we could easily be 4-0 down.

Surprising bulut doesn't play more youngsters. Even if we got hammered people would applaud him and the team for having a go.

Defensively it’s an adventure but at least we are giving it a go

Meite is unbelievable(y bad...)...and our marking in the 18 yard box is non existent.

I don't think it would be a very good experience for them if they got hammered.

Bloody hell. Talk about a suicide back pass

I think Lethal Lynex or Stevie White applied more defensive pressure on defenders than Meite

Kids of been the bright spark today. Ashford, Tanner and Colwill have done well.

Not sure what Turnbull brings to the table.

Youngsters have done well. It's good to see Tanner playing on the left where he doesn't have to cut inside all the time.

As much as Southampton has opened us up with ease, we haven't missed Grant and Bowler.

Agree, although Rubin looks a little lost. I'd hook Turnbull and bring on Dieidhiou and play Rubin in the centre

Diedhou’s problem isn’t him. Ultra defensive football means he is starved of service. He is a good finisher and is working harder than Meite on the press.

Lots od balls in and passes means Diedhou looks more alive today than all season.

Would we be so forgiving if this was November and we hadn't had months of tedium to look back on, and it wasn't Southampton? We're getting trounced and it should be 4-0. Nice to see us trying to be a bit more attacking and giving the young lads a chance and would be nice to see this formation against another mid-table team. Ashford looks like he's just getting used to the pace of everything. Brooks' miss was quite chucklesome.

Tanner has been the bright spark, providing all the entertainment in attack and defence.

He's still probably a better defender than Romeo, who I just don't get. He's a tidy athlete and has got a good touch, but defensively he doesn't anticipate anything and is really easy to turn. The gap between him and Ng is huge.
