The bullshit narrative that Siopis only passes backwards is for the birds. He tackles and chases hard. His passing range is good. Today proves what I have said most season it is the lack of willing runners that has been the problem.

Today the runners have made the runs and he has found them. It is a style / system issue not a player issue. He is a good player.

Somebody tell me why it’s taken this long to get Ashford in the side instead of Bowler?

    That's my big concern.

Bulut and the team will get lots of praise now and everyone will leave encouraged.

However it shouldn't be the case that I was so pleased to see we had so many injuries as it would finally force bulut to do something different at home.

I couldn't understand people thinking so many injuries would make it easier for Southampton.

We've been dangerous when we've got crosses in, maybe I'm getting old, but play a right footed winger on the right and left footed on the left? Colwill is a 10, I'm not sure what Turnbull offers.

Amazing effort by those who played the whole game. Colwill was out on his feet but will be so much better for playing 117 minutes. The youngsters must be involved next week

I’d start Ashford ahead of Grant and Bowler. Really good defensively as well.

You make your own luck sometimes. Two youth team players bombing forward and a bit of positivity.

Compare that with the times this season we’ve just been hoofing it clear and under total pressure the last 20 minutes.

Ralls magnificent- not sure I've seen a better individual performance from any City player this season.

I agree get a lot more games. They can’t play a full amount though at 17-19: too much pressure on body. 2-3 years of graduation of time up to full amont more sensible.

But they look up for it skill wise and mentality wise .Nice to see. Bulut shouldn’t be fire if he can adopt the same path as today
