I played against Forest Green several times in the the Hellenic league 40+ years ago, many tiers down in the Hellenic league. However, I can’t see them getting back into the EFL very quickly, if at all, as there are some big teams in there now. There has to be a big question mark over their new Teletubbies wooden Green stadium, that’s a huge investment fora non league team
