And so ends one of the most turgid and boring seasons that I have witnessed in my 74 seasons of supporting the City. Before this match, I was unsure of Bulut’s fate, but after today, in my opinion he should be sacked! That was a dreadful display today, especially second half, against a team which has not scored since the 1st April. I have renewed my season ticket for another year, in the hope that things will improve next season, but I am already beginning to doubt my optimism. At least we won’t see Bowler again next season!
If Bulut stays, i might support Barnstoneworth United next season instead.
Nice to end on a round number of 70 league goals conceded
70 goals conceded in a season is shocking. Considering how defensive we've played all season.
I was 50/50 on Bulut but after today no thanks Erol.
9 goals conceded in last 2 games. Southampton could have had 4 or 5 easily. Add deflected goals to set pieces and we couldn't have scored more than a dozen goals from open play since the start of the year.
i for 1 wont watch another live game while this prat is still here...
of course ill watch online but like f am i spending hard earned money on this shit
sack the prat now
fyi rotherham were at -55 goal difference before this match. Just sayin'
goes to show you what defending so deep can do vs even a poor team that chooses to attack
On the bright side at least we haven't got to play Rotherham next season !!
Say's it all really
Bulut: "Rotherham are relegated and I think a little bit like the referee wanted to give them a present. So he helped them a little bit."
My stream went down, so I didn't see the last 15 minutes (thankfully!).
When I read your post, I thought it was just a case of 'Splotty humour ', I really couldn't believe he'd think it appropriate to do that.
However, from other posters, it seems he really did do the fist-pump?
Fecking unbelievable, and so out-of-touch!
Lawlor sat on the bench twice without getting on the pitch, then was dropped for McGuiness who's been out for months and had literally nothing to gain from being involved today.
Same for O'Dowda - no good reason to pick him today over Giles.
Why not give Mafico at a least a few minutes at the end today as well?
