Would be happy to see him here if Bulut goes (although with his Bristol City background he might not fancy it).

Has not stopped lots of players swapping sides of the bridge.

When I heard the news that Rosenior had been sacked I thought that Hull's loss could be Cardiff's gain.

My 1st thoughts on seeing this news on here, is it’s a crazy decision. Maybe more to it, but thought they were very unlucky to miss out on the play offs

Hull City may still be digesting the disappointment of missing out on the Championship's top six, but head coach Liam Rosenior feels the season should be viewed as a success in terms of the progress made on and off the pitch.

Twelve months ago, City finished the season with a 0-0 draw at Luton Town which saw them sign off in 15th place. But despite their 1-0 loss at Plymouth Argyle on Saturday afternoon, Rosenior's side ended the campaign in seventh, three points adrift of the play-offs.

Rosenior feels the club has been put firmly back on the map this season, with the likes of Jaden Philogene, Tyler Morton, Liam Delap and Fabio Carvalho all coming in and excelling throughout an exciting campaign, albeit, one that ultimately ended up in big disappointment.

They have spent in the region of €25m-€30m in transfer and loan fees this season apparently

    More money than sense

Hull missed out on a place in the play-offs by three points on the final day of the season; Liam Rosenior recently signed a new three-year contract in December 2023, which would have kept him at the club until 2026

8 points more with a lower win percentage, has he done a better job than Bulut?

Were they on an embargo, or could they sign whoever they wanted?

Ranking total wins over total points and league position

    Not necessarily though.

You have to think outside the box to make gains. Clubs like Brentford and Brighton have had success because of it. They look for players where other clubs don't. They sign players who other clubs literally rejected and don't want. They sign players with poor scoring records and make them into prolific strikers.

It's not always as simple as the best manager has the most points and the best striker to buy has scored the most goals etc....

I didn't rank or say anything other than they only had 8 more points than us and a lower win percentage, is that better than Bulut has done under an ebargo?

Imagine what Bulut would do with that kind of money. Promoted by Easter..

They've spent a fair bit so would somewhat understand but still an absolute mad decision considering the competition for top 6 this season.

I would go get him in a heartbeat. Really good manager.

No, they were winning by more than one.

For instance, they beat Erol Bulut's team 3-0 and 3-1.
