Let's pay up Slade's contract next.
What a waste of talent!
Was it paid up ?
Radio Wales said mutual consent .
If i was moving i would sell all my stuff too. It's blatently obvious Tan is having a garage sale
I expect he consented to go when they paid him some moneyOriginally Posted by Lawnmower wrote on Sat, 24 January 2015 18:05
Good technical player on his day but not cut out for Championship football.
Good luck to him.
It seems to be misleading to say his contract was paid up.Originally Posted by RichardM wrote on Sat, 24 January 2015 18:07
Good luck to him.
So who else has talent we can get rid of??
So Tan lent us £100+, got us into the Premier, ****ed that up so now he's selling all the players and cutting his losses?
I wouldn't be surprised if the club is wound up within two years. There's no way he ever getting his "investment" back. He's just going to sell everything.
Do we have any gifted technical players? I always wanted see Kim and Daehli play off a single striker. The only creativity we have in the side now is Whittingham's corners and Gunnarsson's long throws. Such a waste.

We could surely have got at least half a million for Kimbo. This is surely the clearest sign yet than Tan is on his way and is trying to cut his, probably massively eggagerated, losses. Bring in a lower division manager, flog off the high earners and change back to blue to improve season ticket sales before he goes.
The only question now is, what happens next?

Should sell the new second tier in the stadium.
The problem with trying to sell these players, is that nobody probably wants to pay the wages they're on. At least if they're a free agent, the interested club has more power over what they offer them.
Thought Bluebird23 would be all over this thread?Originally Posted by blueblade wrote on Sat, 24 January 2015 18:09
It's odd that he's been released by the club but still trains with the team
I would have thought once you're released they wouldn't want you hanging around the squad.
He was only released yesterday. Have you been down the Vale this morning to see him training with the squad?Originally Posted by Blue Tone wrote on Sun, 25 January 2015 10:06
Where I live overlooks the Pavilion & training pitches.Originally Posted by RichardM wrote on Sun, 25 January 2015 11:13
I may be missing something here; but why didn't we put him up for sale and hope to get something for him. Kim is not the first player we have released or given away recently for absolutely nothing.
So the club will let them go and they probably get the majority of their contract paid up and they go to a new club and command a better wage as that club didn't need to fork out a transfer / signing on fee.Originally Posted by bobbank wrote on Sun, 25 January 2015 13:34
